Deer Tribe Metis Medicine Society (DTMMS)
The Deer Tribe Metis Medicine Society was founded in 1986 for the purpose of gathering, translating and teaching the Wheels and Keys of the Sweet Medicine SunDance (SMSD) Path of Turtle Island. The Flowering Tree Lodge is one of many lodges around the world which are affiliated with the DTMMS. These lodges offer teachings, educational workshops, lectures, ongoing classes, ceremonial opportunities, and learning tools for the pursuit of personal wholeness and the study of shamanism.
