Red Lodge:
An Intensive Program of Shamanic Teachings and Ceremonies

Welcome to the Red Lodge Longhouse Program!

For thousands of years the sacred knowledge of how to live a life of balance and beauty was taught only within secret wisdom schools to a few adepts.  Red Lodge opens the ancient wisdom of the Sweet Medicine SunDance path to you, in a step by step process of education and integration.

Teachings, exercises and ceremonies give you the knowledge to find new solutions to old challenges. Life altering experiences with Nature help you achieve balance in your emotional, mental, physical, spiritual and sexual aspects of self.   Red Lodge provides the tools needed to bring magick and purpose back into your life.

Red Lodge is a four year program of personal transformation.  Those wishing to continue can do so for an additional two years as apprentices.  Students commit to one year at a time, similar to a college or university program.

Each year consists of 6 weekends in metro Detroit and one week of ceremonies on private land in western Michigan.  Weekend sessions run from 7pm Friday through 5pm Sunday and encompass teachings, ceremony, and experiential activities for integration.  Ceremonial Week provides a unique opportunity to build a personal medicine wheel, call on the energies of life itself, and learn what they have to teach you. Quite simply, these ceremonies move you from intellectual understanding to knowledge that will feed you the rest of your life.

Red Lodge opens to new students each September.

Our 2009-2010 curriculum is as follows:

Session 1: September 18-20, 2009

Session 2: November 6-8, 2009
